Tasty, but Has a Texture That Reminds Me of a Stale Cookie
The Peanut Butter & Co. Peanut Butter Chip Cookies are an okay treat if you love peanut butter. The cookies have an excellent peanut butter flavor and our family liked how the cookies were sweet enough to satisfy a sweet tooth craving, but not so sweet that they're cloying. While our family enjoyed the flavor of these cookies, the texture was a bit off - the best word to describe the texture would be "stale". While this apparently didn't bother the kids much, the adults were turned off by this texture. The cookies were neither crunchy nor chewy - they were slightly soft like a chewy cookie but broke apart easily like a crunchy cookie. They simply tasted like crunchy cookies that had sat on the counter uncovered overnight, and while they were still good enough to eat, I personally wouldn't get them again. However, the kids liked the flavor enough to want to give them a second chance, so I may just need to pick up a box to see if the issue was just me. None of the packets were open, by the way. Overall, while we enjoyed the flavor, it's still up in the air if I would purchase these again because of the texture. Life is just too short to bother with eating stale cookies.
